Chrome stops working on these smartphones. See if yours is on the list?

Google is purging many of its apps and limiting their use on older versions of Android. This process continues now, with another app being reviewed. We talk about Chrome, which now stops working in some scenarios and for many users.

How was it shown some time ago, version 120 of Chrome will bring the first limitations to the use of this browser. This is the version that will stop working on Android 7, with the next version now being the limit for Google's mobile browser.

This version 120 of Chrome has not yet reached Android smartphones and the problem does not yet exist directly. This version is expected for the beginning of next year, when it will be launched, with another batch of new features, as is normal at Google.

Even if this is the limit, in fact, Chrome will not stop working. It just won't be possible to update to version 120. This could cause problems in the short term, if a security issue arises, at the same time as it doesn't give access to all the new features that have been created in the meantime.

This is an inevitable process that Google follows on a regular basis. By limiting the version, in this case of Chrome, it ensures that the best features can be created and that there is no limitation in terms of available resources.
