CINFOTEC of Huambo offers 40 scholarships in 2024

More than 40 young people from various provinces, with emphasis on Cuando Cubango, Bié and Huambo, will benefit from scholarships provided by the Integrated Technological Training Center (CINFOTEC), as part of its youth training and socialization strategy for the year 2024.

The fact was revealed by Celso Delgado, representative of CINFOTEC from the province of Huambo, at the inauguration of the center of the region, where four areas of training are planned, with information and communication technology having the largest number of courses, such as Networks Computer, Computer Maintenance and Repair, Structured Cabling, Computing from the User's Perspective, Professional Photography and Multimedia Editing, Programming Logic, Web Development and Integration of Communication Systems.

The courses have a temporary workload that varies between 40 and 520 hours and are subsidized by the Angolan government, with non-scholarship trainees having to make a contribution that can vary between 25 and 166 thousand kwanzas.

CINFOTEC in Huambo was built in a space of 6.531,17 square meters, within the framework of bilateral cooperation between Angola and the Republic of China, it is the second in the country, after Luanda, with an investment of over 30 million US dollars .

Belonging to the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS), the center will have a capacity for 710 trainees, per shift, in Information and Communication Technology (ICTs), Electricity, Metrology, Mechanics and Production courses.

It should also be noted that CINFOTEC-Huambo has six classrooms, 28 laboratories and six workshops, which will teach theoretical and practical subjects from professional courses in mechanics and production, information technology, meteorology, electro-medicine, electricity and mechatronics.
