Em 2017 (It's been a long time since), the fixed telephone market in Angola had four operators, with Angola Telecom at the time having 68% of the market share, after exactly seven years, the market presents a new scenario and as a leader in the market.
According to statistical data currently contained in the INACOM observatory, the TV Cabo has the largest fixed telephone market share in Angola with 44,8% worth 44.086 subscribers, MS Telcom with 35% worth 33.854 subscribers, Angola Telecom with 17,2% worth 16.203 subscribers, Startel with 1.9% worth 1.761 subscribers and finally Paratus Angola (ex-ITA) with 0.1% worth 65 subscribers.
In these seven years, it is noted that Tv Cabo and MS Telcom were the ones that most took advantage of the opportunities and grew in the market, with the only new addition being Paratus. It is not known exactly what happened to the decline of companies like Angola Telecom and Startel, only time will be able to dictate the next changes that may happen in this segment.
