The startups that were selected for the next phase of the biggest competition dedicated to green business ideas are already known, ClimateLaunchPad Angola, this event is in charge of the EIT Climate-KIC and the Accelerates Angola, in partnership with IdeiasLab and the Swedish Embassy in the country.

ClimateLaunchPad is an international program based on supporting business ideas that reduce the negative impact on the environment, and startups with cleantech business ideas were invited to participate in the competition – related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, agriculture, water, transport, circular economy and much more.
For the 2022 edition, the ClimateLaunchpad themes are as follows: Industrial Technology, Transport and Mobility, Water and Sanitation, Food and Agriculture, EfficiencyEnergy Science and Renewable Energy.
In the 2021 edition, the startup angowaste, which connects the actors involved in the recycling value chain, was recognized as the national champion of ClimateLaunchpad Angola, in 44 applications submitted in total, 10 of which were selected for bootcamps, mentoring sessions and participation in the ClimateLaunchpad National Final.
