Several children showed their appreciation for the latest edition of the “Science Fair and Community Workshop”, held last month in Viana, Luanda, which featured projects related to mechanics, electromechanics, gastronomy, renewable energy production, among others.

On the initiative of the Municipal Administration of Viana, the technology fair comes to celebrate the Day of the African Child (June 16), highlighting the electric grid project that regulates the level of fat in the food that people consume, an invention by Enoque Xavier, age 14.

The young innovator also presented another project that aims to help the human being to turn on the light bulb by tapping the palm of the hand, as if it were a remote control.

Little Samira Isabel, 10 years old, also a member of the “Candengue Cientista” project, presented the assembly of a board that facilitates the testing of simple circuits, as well as composite ones.

For the municipal administrator of Viana, Demétrio de Sepúlveda, the technological event comes to show what good is done in terms of technology for children residing in this district.

The official appealed to parents and guardians to pay greater attention to the training of children in order to safeguard their future.
