Projects in various areas, with emphasis on the innovation and digitalization sector, marked the exhibition fair, called “Innovate for a Healthy and Sustainable Society”, which brought together students from 13 public and private schools of Professional Technical and Pedagogical Education, from the municipalities of Cuanhama, Ombadja and Namacunde, province of Cunene.

The exhibitors showed their skills, exchanged experiences and enriched their projects that were launched into the job market and minimized social problems.

For the acting director of the Provincial Education Office in Cunene, Ivo Tuapanda, the fair served to encourage scientific research through Science and Technology in an interdisciplinary way, as well as to assess their potential, in an environment of interaction between institutions teaching and the community. The director highlighted that holding the fair represents the certainty of learning in the field of Science, Technology and Innovation, by students and the dissemination of knowledge articulated with the ecosystem and entrepreneurship.

Ivo Tuapanda assured that the subsystem of technical, professional and pedagogical education constitutes the basis for preparing young people of school age, job seekers and workers, in order to respond to the country's socioeconomic needs.

The governor made it known that currently the need for quality teaching is increasingly demanding, in order to associate theory with practice and promote moments of interaction between cognitive knowledge.

Finally, he encouraged students to cultivate an interest in science, technology and innovation. He asked exhibitors to continue researching, creating and innovating for a healthy and increasingly sustainable society.
