The Ministry of Economy and Planning, in partnership with the Eventos Arena group, presented yesterday (19) the projections regarding the number of participants, countries and sectors of the 38th Edition of Luanda International Fair (FILDA) to take place from the 18th to the 22nd of July, with the theme “Digital economy: the new frontier of the world economy".
The event, which was attended by the editorial staff of MenosFios, served as a preview of the largest business showcase in our country, which in the 2022 edition will be held in the new exhibition park of the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone.
According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arena Group, Bruno Albernaz, underlined that the event expects to bring together 750 companies, and should be held in a period when the 30 years of diplomacy between Angola and the United States of America are being celebrated. This edition also proposes to cover the latest trends and technologies aimed at creating innovative businesses, as well as disseminating an entrepreneurial culture and innovation among entrepreneurs, investors and visitors.
"The big news is the participation of the United States, which for the first time participates in the official fair”, he reinforced.
Bruno Albernaz points out that another novelty is the return of Brazil, with the participation of the Associação dos Empresários Brasileiros and the Embassy of Brazil in Angola.

The businessman made it known that, at the moment, there are eight confirmed countries between Portugal, Italy, Indonesia, Turkey, United States of America, Germany, Brazil and Japan.
Regarding the number of companies, Bruno Albernaz says that, at this point, there are 550 confirmed participations, with the guarantee of reaching the intended 750 companies in the coming weeks.
"For this edition, the digital economy emerges as the great flag, in what is the frontier for development to be in fact effective and for us to be able to have much more results, taking into account our business intentions.the,” he added.
