The National Electoral Commission (CNE) informed that the disclosure of the lists by voters, through their local bodies, will be published on its internet platform.

According to CNE spokesperson Lucas Quilundo, speaking to one of Angola's television stations, the law states that disclosure must be made under the terms determined by the entity responsible for organizing the elections.

Lucas Quilundo stresses that the Organic Law on General Elections mentions that the lists of voters must be published by polling station, and speaks of disclosure and not explicitly of posting, “being the same just another form of disclosure".

The CNE representative also explained that the voter lists as such, under the terms of the said Law, are not posted, as they will only be available on polling day, adding that for voters who cannot access the Internet, the CNE has created several locations in the communities where election agents will be with tablets to indicate the place where they should vote.

Also to inform, the CNE also provided a technological solution that allows citizens to search for information via SMS, sending their Identity Card or voter card number to 40114.
