Founder Institute Luanda and INNASA incubator sign agreement to strengthen CPLP startups

O Founder Institute Luanda (FIL) and INNASA RIO Incubator signed a Technical and Educational Cooperation agreement, in order to offer training courses, technical/methodological improvement and business mentoring training, as well as to strengthen the startup ecosystems of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) in Africa. 

According to what was revealed, the partnership with INNASA will bring to Angola and other Portuguese-speaking countries methodological improvement courses for conducting mentoring sessions and other complementary ones for training mentors, teachers, consultants, coaches, etc. on topics such as communication, behavior, leadership, support tools for mentoring, business modeling, validations, among others.

"The partnership aims to increase the effectiveness and chances of success of startups in the various acceleration and incubation programs for companies in Angola“, said Eduardo Nogueira, CEO INNASA, quoted in the statement.

It should be noted that this partnership is part of a negotiation process between the two institutions, which, from January 17 to 19, 2022, jointly held the 1st Business Mentoring Week in Angola, as well as the 1st “INNMENTORING Certification Workshop”, on the 25th and 26th of March, with the first group of 9 Mentors certified in INNMENTORING based on maieutics and Socratic methodology.

"With this partnership, FILuanda promotes Business Mentoring in Angola based on a methodology that allows us to take on more complex mentoring challenges, which guides our strategy to stimulate the innovative talent of Angolan entrepreneurs by making them think, research and reflect on demand of conclusions“, stressed Haymée Pérez Cogle, Director FI Luanda, also mentioned in the note.

It should also be noted that the agreement provides for the exchange of experiences for the creation of associative entities similar to the Associação Brasileira dos Mentores de Negócios – ABMEN in the CPLP countries, with the objective of developing the culture of Mentoring as a professional activity recognized and valued in the society.
