A piece of news released by Bloomberg indicates that the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), and Google are currently in negotiations to enable Artificial Intelligence (AI) models Gemini of Mountain View technology can be used in iPhone software.

The available information points to Apple’s “active negotiations” with Google and also with OpenAI, with Apple wanting to include generative AI features from the cloud this year. There are also rumors that Apple will release iOS 18 this year that will offer other AI features directly on devices.
