Gorilla Glass 4, the next generation of resistant glasses for smartphones, tablets and computers, was launched. After tests, the manufacturer, Corning, guarantees that these new glasses will be able to withstand drops on rough surfaces, which until now is quite difficult. If you want to test it, just drop your smartphone in a place with some stones (Okay, do not do this!).
Gorilla Glass 4 has been subjected to 1 m high drop tests on various surfaces capable of damaging the glass, according to the manufacturer, the glass resisted up to 80% of the time (if we drop our gadget 10 times, there is a chance leave it intact 8 times, which is very good)
Over the next few days we will see gadget giants announcing this new technology in their gadgets, which could be much more durable.
