The National Electronic Public Procurement System (SNCPE) allowed the Government to save more than 118 billion kwanzas, according to the Secretary of State for Budget and Public Investment, Juciene de Sousa.

The leader who was speaking at the opening of the 1st National Methodological Meeting, with State Suppliers, informed that the values ​​refer to the 138 contracting procedures, triggered on the technological platform.

Juciene de Sousa also mentioned that 250 companies were awarded on the said platform, where micro, small and medium-sized companies represent 75%. She pointed out that when compared to estimated values ​​to those contracted, it represents 24% of the initially estimated value.

For this reason and for better monitoring of suppliers, with whom partnerships are established, the Secretary of State revealed that since 2019, the State Suppliers Performance Assessment System has started to be implemented, which allows public purchasers to optimize the management of the supply of goods and services, as well as assisting in the selection of the best supplier to generate added value.

The selection of the best supplier, he pointed out, is based on the skills of the evaluated person and in accordance with the performance requirements established by the Contracting Public Entity.

It should be noted that the 1st National Methodological Meeting was attended by State Suppliers, service providers, suppliers of goods and contractors who contract with the State, where the objective of the event was to inform suppliers about the evolution of the National System of Hiring.
