The CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, gave an interview to NBC Nightly News where he stated that there is a risk that cyberattacks take to “collapse of world order”.

Nadella thus called on the US, Russia and China to reach an agreement and seek to defend themselves against states that support this type of activity. Furthermore, the Microsoft leader believes that a Geneva Convention should be created to establish principles and limits for cyberattacks.

“If this is about nations attacking each other, and especially civilian targets, then we are in a new world order. It’s the collapse of the world order, which I think is something we haven’t seen before.”, said Nadella.
