Microsoft has released more details on device. A dBattery operation has been revealed: it will last for up to five and a half hours with moderate use. Among other details it was revealed that these glasses will have connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
For those who thought that 5 and a half hours of autonomy is the bad news, be aware that in heavy use, the HoloLens battery will only last two and a half hours, a very unsatisfactory time.
One of the reasons for the high consumption of the battery is the size of the display, Microsoft had to reduce the size of the display of the HoloLens in an attempt to slightly increase the battery life. In this first version, the user will see objects as if he were using a 15 inch screen two steps away. The next big challenge now is, in the second version, to increase the size of the display without reducing the efficiency of the already sacrificed battery.
