Angola is one of the countries most affected by cyber attacks in recent times, which led last week to Huawei organize a visit with journalists to the cybersecurity online exhibition halls and its Technological Park.

For Robim Wandi, a technician at the technological multinational and who presented the China Cyber ​​Security Center online, he said that Huawei is investing more and more in combating cyber attacks.

According to the expert, the purpose of this visit was to interact with the journalistic class and show their behavior with cybersecurity issues in general.

“The first prevention for these attacks is the secrecy that the person must have with their data used in the phones”, he informed.

The Huawei Technological Park in Angola is valued at US$60 million, where it was recently inaugurated, built in an area of ​​32 square metres, the infrastructure includes three centres, the first of which is aimed at training Angolan talent and engineers.

The second is devoted to innovation (for new technologies), while the third is for advanced technological experiences.

The park also has a Data Center and 3G, 4G and 5G telephony solutions and solar panels for homes and businesses.

The infrastructure offers energy solutions for prepaid, videoconferencing, artificial intelligence and smart home systems.

In a mix of theoretical and practical classes, the center provides training in 5G, communication data, network engineering and information storage in the clouds.

The parks stand out for having four training rooms with 32 seats each, three residential buildings for 180 employees, a cafeteria for XNUMX people and a indoor playground.

This is Guawei Technologies' third technology park in Africa, after Egypt and South Africa.
