The Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE), presented this Thursday, 24 June, the Electronic Auction Portal of the Privatization Program (PROPRIV), in a virtual conference that lasted 1 hour, broadcast from of the platform ZOOM and which had the participation of more than 100 people, including businessmen, journalists and other interested parties.
The aforementioned event had as speakers, Jose Tavares, responsible for the Department of Privatization of Companies at IGAPE, and Leonel Morgado, Technician at the Office of Technologies and Information of the General Tax Administration, who together showed those present the importance of the PROPRIV auction platform, as well as its functioning.
For Leonel Morgado, who gave a demonstration on the functioning of the PROPRIV Portal, it is an electronic platform, of easy access and exploitation that will facilitate the privatization process through electronic auctions, and also constitutes an innovative model to increase the State's revenues through the sale of assets in this way.
During his presentation, the representative of IGAPE, José Tavares, framed the Privatization Program, explained how the electronic auction will work, noting that six assets will be privatized in this way, in a first phase, that is, the Malanje Model Slaughterhouse, Dombe Grande Tomato Factory, Namibe Tomato Processing Factory, Dombe Grande Frigorific Warehouse, Namibe Frigorific Warehouse and Dombe Grande Can Factory.
The PROPRIV Auction Platform was developed by the General Tax Administration (AGT), and will serve to carry out electronic auctions of some assets included in the Privatization Program (2019-2022).
