The Institute for the Management of State Assets and Participations (IGAPE) extended the deadline for submitting applications for the public privatization tender for the sale of the 90% shareholding in the company Multitel – Telecommunications Services, Lda., extending until 15:30 pm on April 01, 2022.
According to what was revealed, the deadline for submitting applications ended on March 11, 2022, and where the extension of the deadline for applications arises due to the need to increase the time to prepare the conditions of the required requirements and obtain necessary clarifications, in recognition of the difficulties expressed by some of the entities interested in participating in the tender.

To inform that the accounts presented by Multitel to the IGAPE, in the last year, pointed to a turnover of 2.446.260 kwanzas against 2.210.296 kwanzas, in 2019, which represents an increase of 11%, even in a scenario of national and international crisis.
Multitel provides, among others, Internet, VPN and VSAT services, in addition to others related to the Network infrastructure, Data Center and Cloud, IP Voice and Web Services.
The shareholders of this company are PT Ventures, from Sonangol (40%), Angola Telecom (30%), the Bank of Commerce and Industry (20%) and other individuals (10%).
