A Infrasat was created by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, with the aim of filling the space in terms of satellite communications.
As a state-owned company, corporate social responsibility has added value. So far seemed that there were not so many social projects of that company, until the official note about the contest “Technological Talents".
According to official statement:
A INFRASAT, in the scope of its social responsibility actions, with the aim of stimulating and valuing national talents in the IT area, will launch the contest called Technological Talents.
Participants should create a technology project (product or service), based on new information and communication technologies, with mandatory use of telecommunications and having an impact on the daily life of society.
This contest comes to greet the 14 of April (Angolan youth day) that takes place under the motto "With Patriotism, Civics and Dedication, Let's Participate in Angola's Growth Towards a Better Future".
The 18 provinces will be covered, young people from 18 to 35 years. The winners will have as prizes: scholarships, internships in the companies of the Angola Telecom Group and opportunities for continuous training in the areas of ICTs.
