Young Angolans advised to use social media responsibly

Young Angolans are not expected to use the social networks, refraining from behaviors that tarnish the good name of the country's entities.

This appeal came from the president of the Solidarity Support Movement of Angola (Movangola), António Sawanga, speaking at the National Forum for the Moralization of Society, which took place under the motto “We are for Peace, Reconciliation and National Unity”, in the province of Lunda Sul.

The youth meeting also served to mobilize and educate the community to change behavior, reiterating that the misuse of social networks by many families has led to less cordial attitudes and language in social life, contributing to the deviation of human conduct.

Still in his approach, António Sawanga also advised against practices of vandalism of public assets, because their replacement entails huge costs for the State coffers.

He appealed to religious and traditional entities, civil society and guardians to work more on family education, with greater focus on moral and civic matters.
