The Angolan Government will continue to make efforts to make technology accessible to all Angolans, according to the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira.

The leader who spoke at the 2023 edition of the AngoTic, the biggest international event of technologies, communications and innovations in Angola, noting that the event focused on “give technology to the economy for the development of the country".

"For me, the most important thing is not what was spent on Angotic. The most important thing is to give technology to the Angolan people“, said Mario Oliveira.

Regarding the balance of Angotic 2023, the minister revealed that the balance of the event was very positive and congratulated the young creators and startups, also advancing that there were 60 companies in the forum, around 90 startups, and that foreign investors showed themselves "interested in some products presented by our startups".

Lasting three days, this year's edition addressed topics such as "Space industry and trends", "Business model for space technology", "Metaverse to revolutionize the future of entertainment, content and commerce", "Connectivity and technological modernization ”.

ANGOTIC is a global event on information and communication technologies, held and promoted by the Government of Angola, through the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication.

The event aims to promote debate around current, global and future issues of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), sharing knowledge and facilitating networking for government entities, exhibitors, specialists, presenting innovations, as well as trends in the sector.
