The Angolan Government, specifically the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), issued an official note to Angolan civil society about the incident circulated on social media, according to which the new minister instructed the carrying out of a survey of the companies' situation.
The MEP informs that it was “with surprise and concern that it became aware” of this information, highlighting that it is an attempt to scam on social media, as no such procedure takes place in the institution.
"This initiative aims, solely, to make malicious use of the selfless effort of businesspeople who, with commitment and dedication, work to make goods and services available to the market.“, can be read in the statement on the social network Facebook.

Finally, the Ministry of Economy and Planning alerts the business community to be aware of such maneuvers and informs that it is fully available to provide any other type of clarification.
