The messaging app “WhatsApp” was already developing a night mode, or dark mode, for the version of the application used in the system iOS. Now, to the delight of Android users, the site WhatsAppBetaInfo said that the dark version of the application is also being made for the operating system most used in smartphones.
The new feature will come as a future upgrade of WhatsApp, although several leaked images have already given an idea of what users can expect. Shown for the first time by Wabetainfo, the WhatsApp night mode reduces screen brightness and makes it easier to view messages in low light (preferably at night).
Android users will receive the new feature as part of the 2.19.82, yet no date set for the launch.
Some images of how the night mode of the app will stay on iOS have been revealed, and you can see them in the image above. In addition to these new features, it is worth mentioning that Beta version update 2.19.47 brings some design differences in the Settings menu. This was obviously done to offer the night mode option.
