[MWC 2023] CPLP communications regulators meet to outline lines of collaboration

The GSMA, the organizing body of the MWC, has promoted activities involving communications regulators worldwide. This year there is the ministerial program, where representatives of regulators have the chance to interact with each other and with elements of the ecosystem.

The Regulatory Authority for Communications of Mozambique – INCM, shared the details of the meeting it held with the other regulators of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).

"During MWC 23, the Regulator held several meetings to identify partners and solutions, within the scope of digital transformation, as well as to face the challenges of communications, in terms of data storage capacity, security and investment in 5G.

At the same time, meetings were held with CPLP regulators, where ways of collaboration were sought, in a world of technological convergence and in strengthening the role of national regulatory authorities for communications in Portuguese-speaking countries. Other partnership powers were explored to improve communications services and reduce the connectivity gap in the country. "- Official publication of the INCM

According to the Mozambican regulator, this event is expected to find potential partners to move forward with the digital transformation and face the challenges of communications, in terms of data storage capacity, security and investment in 5G.
