Chipmaker Qualcomm has announced that it will hold an event on May 20 in China, which should be dedicated to the presentation of the new high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor.
The event, called “Snapdragon Night”, should also serve to reveal the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, a processor that will very possibly be dedicated to mid-range devices launching in the second half of the year.

We'll have to wait to see what Qualcomm will present at this event, but even so, it's good news for anyone looking to buy new phones by the end of the year.
