Huawei's technology park will train more than 10 national ICT technicians

More than 10 young people will be trained in information technologies in the Huawei Technology Park in Angola, being inaugurated earlier this week by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

This information about the training action for young nationals comes from a memorandum signed between the president of the Chinese company Huawei for Africa, Leo Chen, and, for Angola, the National Director for Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Matias Borges.

The agreement will make it possible to train more than 10 technicians in the most varied specialties of telecommunications and information technologies, without forgetting that the trainees will receive content from the Chinese company's centers in South Africa and China, until the year 2027.

For the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário da Silva Oliveira, who was present at the inauguration of the Technological Centre, the Huawei park in Angola is like a center for professional improvement for young Angolans, as they will be able to face the telecommunications sector labor market.

The Governor also stressed that it is equipped with the latest technology, enabling training, with international standard quality, not only for national staff, but also for technicians from countries in the SADC region. Mário Oliveira also reiterated the commitment of the Angolan Government to the training of young people, in order to reach high levels of technological development, contributing to the improvement of the well-being of Angolans.

Leo Chen, on the other hand, underlined that the construction of the technological park results from an investment of US$80 million and its main objective is to offer digital solutions to Angola, in the most different economic segments.

The manager stresses that his company intends to strengthen the competitiveness of Angolan companies and contribute to a prosperous and sustainable future for Angola.

To inform that the technological park of the Huawei in Angola, which consists of a mix of theoretical and practical classes, will provide training in 5G, communication data, network engineering and information storage in the clouds.

The center has four training rooms, with 32 seats each, three residential buildings for 180 employees, a cafeteria for XNUMX people and a indoor playground.

The institution, which is expected to provide 120 jobs, most of them Angolan, has a Data Center and 3G, 4G and 5G Telephony Solutions and solar panels for homes and businesses.

The infrastructure also offers energy solutions for prepaid systems, videoconferencing, artificial intelligence and smart home (distance connection of equipment).
