Introduced in 2009, this social network has more than 16 millions of unique visits per month (counting only the data of the United States of America), having received an investment valued at 40 million dollars. With this momentum, Pinterest has everything to get into this tough battle with Facebook / Instagram, Twitter and Google + (who enters this list out of compassion only ...)
Applications can be found on the Pinterest's official website, or in the "shops", App Store for the iPad and Play Store for Android. According to the developers, the Android application was designed to be “fast”, while the iPad application was designed to take advantage of the “huge” screen of the tablet.
