Parking problem in Luanda will be highlighted at Angola Startup Summit 2023

The issue of parking in Luanda will be one of the main subjects of the 2nd edition of the Angola Startup Summit, a national digital entrepreneurship event that will take place from the 27th to the 29th of April.

According to what was revealed, the more than 200 startups that will be at the event will be challenged to find a technological solution to the problem of parking in Luanda, and to create a solution that allows, via a QR code, restaurant customers to have access to the menu, select the dish of your choice and make the respective payment using the QR code.

For the Secretary of State for the Economy, Ivan Marques dos Santos, underlines that one of the goals of the Angola Startup Summit is to boost the minds of the founders Angolans and contribute to the growth of the country's economy.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Arena, Bruno Albernaz, said that companies that work or that already have a stake in the startup market can apply to show their potential to Angolan society. During the press conference, a prize of US$19,6 million was announced for startups that win the contests that will be promoted during the event.
