Google's platform dedicated to the display of news, Google News, has been blocked in Russia by decision of the communications regulator Roskomnadzor, according to what reveals the Reuters.

The Russian regulator justified this decision by arguing that Google News “provided access to various publications and materials containing false and important information for the public about the course of the special military operation on the territory of Ukraine".
