Samsung has just demonstrated yet again that it continues to innovate. After you have officially shown the Samsung Galaxy S8, the company also introduced a device that will allow to turn that smartphone into a computer.
The device is called “Samsung DeX”, compatible with Samsung's two new smartphone versions, serving as a bridge between the smartphone and peripherals for the use of “Android in a computer experience”. The mouse, keyboard and monitor are connected directly to the DeX to ensure the operation of the new features, the monitor being connected via HDMI and the others via USB, Bluetooth or radio frequency peripherals.
This new Samsung DeX will be sold in the usual markets, but unfortunately the official price and release date has not yet been revealed, but it is believed that more information may soon emerge.
