Luanda 2020 Seedstars: 10 finalist startups revealed

The sixth edition of Seedstars in Angola is about to meet the winning Startup. The figures revealed by the organization point to 89 startups registered and 31 counted for the online academy of Seedstars. The competition, in the new format, online, allowed the participation of startups from all over the country.

After the initial training and evaluation period, the 10 finalists were selected. The winning Startup, in addition to representing Angola in the Regional competition, has the chance to represent the country in Seedstars World, the final event of the competition, scheduled for May 2021, in which startups compete for a prize of up to 500K USD in investment and 50 USD in investment capital as part of the Seedstars Growth Program.

Regional finalists will be selected based on their robust business model and scalability. The final is scheduled for the day November 7 at 15 pm, with live transmission on the official platforms of Seedstars.

Below is the list of the 10 finalist startups for the Seedstars Luanda award:

  1. SUBSCRIBE - Software that allows companies to digitally manage and sign documents on any device anytime and anywhere with guaranteed security.
  2. BENCH - Delivery and taxi orders in a single digital system. The same taxi that transports passengers also delivers goods of 2 kg or more.
  3. EPDRONES - Angolan passenger transport services company focused on offering effective support solutions in agriculture, construction, engineering, and entertainment.
  4. HUMBITEC - Leverages geospatial and aerospace technology to improve life on earth, starting with precision agriculture.
  5. IMO NExT App - A platform that fills the gap in the search and acquisition of properties, connecting advertisers to potential customers.
  6. KIMPOVI - Connects lawyers to clients (individuals or companies), offering pre-prepared document templates and segmented legislation.
  7. NAWABUS - Digital platform for searching, booking and selling tickets for interprovincial public transport.
  8. PAY 3 - A platform that allows payment of services and products in installments.
  9. PARTNER - An application that allows people to buy a product by sharing the account and the product in equal parts.
  10. SSD - A platform that aims to reduce the distance between doctors and patients through Telemedicine.

Organizers and sponsors count on the success of the event:
