On August 29 KiandaHub was once again the stage chosen for the exchange of experiences between digital entrepreneurs with the event StartupDojo Luanda.
KiandaHub
The first presentation was made by Dizando Norton, with the theme ” KiandaHub: What are we doing?“, Showing current activities, with emphasis on research on the technological entrepreneurship ecosystem in Angola.
Seedstars World Contest
Vanda Oliveira came to clarify some doubts about the SeedstarsWorld Luanda 2015 contest, counting on its presentation with the virtual participation of -(one of the heads of Seedstars for Africa).
The highlight was for the revelation that will be admitted between 10 to 15 startups and the winner will go to Lausane next year to compete with the other winners in other parts of the planet for an investment of up to 500 thousand USD. The access conditions are that these startups must be less than 2 years old and have never received an investment greater than 500 one thousand USD.
Pitchs
It was then time for the introductory session. Two Startups have shown what they have done:
1. Q-Courses
Showing the numbers achieved so far with distance learning courses in Angola and its projects for the future.
2. Lipsis
Composed by young students, Lipsis has innovative ideas and a prototype of a project that promises to reduce traffic jam in Luanda city was presented.
Travel and FinTech Startups
Mauro Yange came to show 10 examples of success from Startpus aimed at the branch of Travel and Finance (FinTech), two categories that will be highlighted in this edition of Seedstars World.
Coding Dojo
Patrício dos Santos made a more technical presentation, showing the steps for creating a functional prototype . The complete presentation can be found on the page of the event.
