O Samsung smartphone with flexible display, "Project Valley" or "Project V", may be launched in the first quarter of next year, in at least 8 countries. This is a leak information, obtained from the SamMobile website, and the following are pointed out: United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Poland, France, South Korea and “Nordic Countries” as the first to have access to the experimental smartphone.
Although without much detail as to the Nordic Countries, it is noted the lack of names like USA and China, however, to be believed to be the experimental nature of the product.
In addition to the folding screen, the smartphone will address a hardware configuration that, according to smartphone websites, will feature a Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB RAM, a Micro SD card slot and a non-removable battery.
It is expected to be presented in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. If presented, this technology will mark a revolutionary milestone in the history of smartphones.
