Facilitating contact between the pre-university student and the teacher, through digital platforms and improving distance teaching and learning, is the main objective of the initiative Stor Bacela, a free digital teacher that is available anytime, anywhere.

So that every Mozambican can interact with Stor Bacela, the student must first install the Telegram application on their device (smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop) and have an internet connection, and where it is available through the link t.me/stormozbot.

Speaking to Jornal Noticias, Bacelar Bacela, mentor of this digital initiative, says that it is possible to find on the platform statements of entrance exams to higher education in the country, in addition to 150 entrance exam exercises solved step by step, as well as video lessons and the respective solutions. About the videos, the professor informs that they are of short duration, in order to facilitate the assimilation of the content according to the microlearning format, without forgetting the fact that most students access the platform via smartphone.

Another particularity of the Stor Bacela digital initiative is that if a student has questions or clarifications, students can use the Bacela Aulas platform, through the link http://bacelaaulas.com.

"Stor Bacela makes its contribution to 4G Education, which aims to prepare students for the challenges of the 5G society”, said Bacelar Bacela.

On the social impact of innovation in Mozambique, Bacelar hopes that its digital initiative can give students opportunities to prepare for entrance exams for free, using only their smartphone or another device.

"I believe that it is possible to learn using a social network. And that only brings gains to the gym. It is yet another contribution that aims to unite Technology and Education, as we find ourselves in a digital age full of resources.”, adds the academic.

For the teacher, this technological idea is sustainable, since the target audience is mostly digital natives eager for new ways of learning and adapted to their daily lives.

Still in an interview with that Mozambican journal, Bacelar explains that in the near future the initiative will be replicated in areas such as the corporate area, given that currently some content is already being tested, and where in the medium and long term the ambition of the project is to help in the expansion blended learning in Mozambique.
