Meta's founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, said in the company's most recent financial results presentation that the new social network Threads (launched in July) surpassed 100 million users.
“We’ve been there for three months and I’m very happy with the trajectory", said Zuckerberg. "We are getting to the point where we will focus on growing the community even further. From what we can tell, so far people are loving it.".
BUT: Threads get edit message button
It is worth remembering that Threads is seen as Meta's answer to Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter), with Zuckerberg taking the opportunity to leave a small 'barb' to the rival platform.
"I thought for a long time that there should be an app with millions of people that would be a little more positive. I think if we continue like this for a few more years, we have a good chance of achieving our vision", noted the Meta leader according to the website The Verge.
