Xiaomi can use Nokia's ideas on its products and services, saving on fees to the Finnish company.

The contract amounts have not yet been disclosed by the two companies.
An interesting fact is that this is the first time that the Nokia makes a licensing agreement with a Chinese company, however it has agreement with other giants like Samsung and Apple.
The agreement with Xiaomi could also reach areas such as the internet of things, artificial intelligence and augmented reality.
