O YouTube will begin to identify videos that have been published by a media outlet funded or linked to a government, in an attempt to manage the content in a more controlled manner.

According to the social network Google, if the platforms, channels or pages that publish the video are financed by States, they will display a message clarifying this circumstance, immediately above the title of the video.

The measure is already being implemented in the United States, but the company has already announced that it will soon be extended to other countries.

"We will start to warn which videos have been uploaded by the media that receive some kind of public funding, in whole or in part, from a government", informed YouTube on his blog. The idea, according to YouTube, is that users can better understand the news sources they choose to view.

In recent times there have been several news stories that filled the newspapers about the famous false news - ads used to mine cryptocurrencies, ads to influence the 2016 US elections, etc. In view of this, the Facebook: Twitter and Google have decided to unite to control more strictly the content management in their social networks.
