The videoconferencing platform Zoom fired its president, Greg Tomb, “without cause”. According to the BBC, which cites a spokesman, the company is not looking for a replacement for the position.
The company also indicated that the president will receive compensation for “dismissal without just cause”. Bloomberg revealed that Tomb had an annual salary of $400 [about 376 euros], with an 8% bonus for goals.

Tomb, a former Google executive, joined Zoom in June 2022. At the time, company CEO Eric Yuan described Tomb as "a highly respected technology industry leader" with a "deep experience in helping to scale companies in critical moments”.
The resignation comes after Zoom moved ahead with the dismissal of 1.300 people in early February, equivalent to 15% of the total number of employees.
