Zoom's free accounts allow you to organize meetings with a maximum limit of 40 minutes, after which the session ends abruptly. Now, the company has announced that the limit will not be applied for two weeks, covering the festive season all over the world, as a way of thanking the community and as a measure to enhance the remote meeting between family and friends.
"As a sign of appreciation for our users during these extraordinary times, we will remove the 40-minute limit for free video calls on all Zoom accounts. Whether to be together on the last day of Hannukah, to celebrate Christmas, to see each other on the New Year or at the Kwanzaa [African American celebration of life that runs from December 26 to January 1], those who want to calling friends and family will not be interrupted".
