During the days 20, 21 and 22, ExpoTic's 2014 took place at FIL, which brought together the main bodies linked to the area of information and telecommunications technologies in Angola. Among the various attractions, there was also one that certainly interests any developer: A mobile app contest, officially named Apps For Angola.
The contest was launched as an attempt to inspire people to develop apps that can enhance and add value to the everyday lives of the Angolan people. Another important purpose is to encourage young people to Startups.
The rules of participation:
- Participants between 18 and 25 years.
- Groups must have at most 3 elements.
- Submission by 27 of August of the current year.
On the official website it is suggested to develop the concept of an app that:
- It inspires entrepreneurship.
- It elevates and improves living conditions.
- It helps to educate or disseminate / share knowledge.
- It makes the community more fun and exciting.
As for the prizes, a trip to Sweden of at most 3 people who will have the opportunity to visit the Hyper Island, Google and many startups will be given to the first place winners. The second placed received iPads and the third received mini tablets.
