Angola will have a technology park built by Huawei

A Huawei will invest US $ 60 million in the construction of a technological park in Angola, for training and sharing experience on the most advanced new technologies.

The investment was discussed today at the meeting that Chu Xiaoxin held with Vice President Bornito de Sousa. Speaking after the hearing, Chu Xiaoxin said that the park will be built next year, and integrates the components of staff training and experience sharing.

The technology park, under construction at the Talatona, in Luanda, will have three centers: first for training Angolan talent and engineers, the second dedicated to innovation for new technologies and a third for advanced technological experiences.

"We are going to train Angolan talents, according to the education center, we are going to accompany our partners and customers for the innovation of new technologies, and then we have an experience center, we are going to bring the most advanced and new technologies to Angolan society" , explained the head of the Chinese multinational.

According to Chu Xiaoxin, the total investment is over 60 million dollars and its inauguration and start-up is scheduled for December next year, for the training of more than 1.500 partners or engineers.

Last week, the multinational signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the field of talent training in information and communication technologies (ICT).
