Bayer Foundation offers program for female entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan Africa

Are you a woman who likes to change the game, driving sustainability and social impact through technological innovation in Angola? If your answer is yes, then the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award 2022 it's definitely for you!

Through Open Application, the Bayer Foundation and Get In The Ring are looking for 16 women influencers to present solutions in the fields of health and nutrition, with an impact on the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 3, who will be selected to catalyze advances in science, social and digital innovation for a world, through the motto “Health for All, Hunger for None".

According to the statement, the Bayer Foundation Women Empowerment Award 2022 competition aims to reward women entrepreneurs as inspiring role models and nurture the brightest minds to provide impactful solutions to sub-Saharan Africa's challenges in health and agriculture.

BUT: Angolan women encouraged to pursue a technological career

Those selected for the program are expected to find a 24-week accelerator incubator, a cash prize of 25.000 euros (about 15 million kwanzas), workshops and training, access to the Networking network, as well as presence at the Women Empowerment Award Final Event and additional funding opportunities.
