BNA launches mobile application to improve communication system

O National Bank of Angola (BNA) launched, this Monday, the 21st, its mobile application called “App-BNA” to improve the institutional communication system.

“As part of the structural transformation of the national financial system, the National Bank of Angola continues to make efforts to improve its institutional communication system, with the aim of strengthening the availability of information to the market in a faster and more assertive way”, reads if in the communiqué published in the website from the central bank.

The App-BNA, a digital platform, is available in Android and IOS versions, and can be downloaded through Apple Store ou Google Play, and will allow economic agents to receive updated information through smartphones e tablets on key decisions relating to the mission and functions of the central bank.

BUT: BNA launches portal for license creation and management

According to the regulator of the Angolan banking system, with this new information channel it will be possible to access the history of the BNA, consult the financial legislation, data referring to monetary policy, banking supervision and markets.

The application will also allow economic agents to access payment systems, statistics, reports, exchange rates, banknotes and coins, as well as handle a currency converter, associated with the daily reference rates published by the National Bank of Angola.

Through the App-BNA, news, videos, photographs and data relating to public interventions by members of the BNA Board of Directors will be made available.
