Brazil will train Angolan technicians in matters related to startups

Several Angolan specialists will be sent to Brazil, in the near future, in order to be trained on subjects related to startups, entrepreneurship and assistance to micro and small companies.

The information was revealed by the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), João Nkosi, at the end of a meeting with the Minister of Economy, Planning and the president of the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE), Décio Aneth de Lima.

The PCA stressed that the specialist technicians are INAPEM affections, where this sending is to deepen relations with SEBRAE to provide sustainability in the future National Entrepreneurship Strategy, taking into account the experience of Brazil, which will support the discovery of new talents in Angola .

To this end, he added, this Friday (the 25th), the two institutions will sign an agreement to reinforce their cooperation, within the scope of the working visit to Angola by the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who arrived to Luanda this Thursday (24).

As a result of that agreement, he added that SEBRAE ensures that it will deploy a team of specialists in Angola to carry out an in-depth diagnosis of INAPEM with the aim of designing a guiding plan.

The president of SEBRAE, Décio Aneth de Lima, informed that the presence of his institution in Angola serves to recover and consolidate the process of building a more solid partnership with INAPEM, with the aim of promoting and enhancing micro and small companies.

In addition, he highlighted, the Brazilian institution will sign a more consistent agreement to create a “door of hope” to Angolan entrepreneurs.

He guaranteed to work with INAPEM in order to contribute to the reinforcement of the process of innovation, sustainability and social inclusion that Angola and Brazil aim for both peoples.
