Several Angolan citizens report a “wave of robberies” when using the app taxi service, reporting fear and insecurity while using this innovative means of mobility.
According to TV ZIMBO, in a special report, it emphasizes that many citizens never know when they will be victims of bandits when using the taxi service by application, where some are already thinking about giving up when using the service.

According to the spokesman for the National Police in Luanda, Nestor Goubel, the occurrence of robberies when using the app taxi service has only increased in recent times, with many passengers talking about attempted robberies and sexual violations.
Passengers claim that there are some drivers in disguise and that they are authentic criminals, where in carrying out their actions they use firearms and knives.
Currently, Angola has several taxi services per application, with emphasis on Yango, Heetch, UGo, Kubinga, Tupuca and others.
