Angolan diplomat highlights importance of new technologies in communication

The Angolan ambassador to Brazil, Florêncio de Almeida, encouraged Angolan civil society to give greater importance to new technologies for faster and more comprehensive communication.

The diplomat spoke these words at the relaunch of the new institutional website of the Angolan diplomatic representation in that South American country, based on the celebrations of the last 4th of April, the day of Peace and National Reconciliation in Angola.

According to Florêncio de Almeida, with this new web platform, there is now greater interaction between diplomatic authorities and those interested in their services, due to the fact that “to be closer to everything and everyone".

The website (http://www.embaixadadeangola.com.br), is now completely recreated and rejuvenated, where it presents a new and modern design architecture, with multifaceted valences and diversified themes of plural interest, being able and qualified to serve publics of different interests and social strata.

It should be noted that the program of celebrations conceived by the Angolan embassy in Brazil in salute to the 20 years of Peace and National Reconciliation in Angola extended until the 16th of April, and included a large number of activities, with emphasis on reflection days on the event that will take place in some Brazilian states where there is a greater presence of Angolans.
