The new service of the Interbank Services Company (EMIS), Multicaixa Express is already in operation, but its official launch takes place on April 24 in Luanda.

Multicaixa Express (MCX Express) is an interbank payment application made available by EMIS through the association of several multi-card to mobile phone numbers and aims to be the most important vehicle for boosting banking and mass electronic payments.

With this application it is possible to pay for various services such as charging the mobile phone, paying bills, paying television and internet subscription, buying airline tickets, energy recharging, while allowing you to check balances and movements, make transfers and orders without card.

How to get started with the MCX Express channel?

  • First: it is necessary to previously make the association of each multi-card to the mobile phone number, using the Automatic Boxes (CA) of the Multicaixa Network.

  • Then download the MCX Express application in the Play Store ou Apple Store and then enter the application with the data you obtained in the CA and the received SMS message and then enter the application with the data you obtained in the CA and in the SMS message received.
  • It is possible to pay for several services such as charging the mobile phone, paying bills, paying television and internet subscription, buying airline tickets, energy recharges, while allowing you to check balances and movements, make transfers and requests for withdrawals without card .

It should be noted that, the user can add several multicash cards to the MCX Express (maximum number to be confirmed), and when making any move, he can choose which one to use. An easy-to-use service and will be the vehicle used to boost e-commerce in Angola, as it will enable, within a few months, payment with multi-box debit card for purchases made on the internet.
