The program VC4A Venture Showcase Africa 2022 is looking for up to 16 women "founders" who manage innovative technological projects in Africa, to be introduced to a worldwide network of investors, as well as to win funding valued at between 250 and 10 million dollars.

According to statistics from Report Africa: The Big Deal, 93% of funding in 2021 on the African continent went to CEO-led startups, so VC4A launches this program for women-led startups across Africa, in order to boost the continent's digital entrepreneurship community.

The program is recommended to every “founder” of a fast-growing startup with a demonstrable possibility of impact, and where the technological project is in the process of expanding in its region, whether in Angola or in another country in Africa.

Startups participating in the program will have access to a curated network of investors and will be vetted by top venture capital firms as part of the review process. The program will still count on the presence of angel investors, VC fund managers and companies that are dedicated to the program and provide guidance and technical support to the finalists.

The Venture Showcase is definitely a powerful tool for founders to promote their startups and connect with potential investors, without forgetting that it is an excellent opportunity to share and learn with their peers, while forming bonds of long term with them.
