Experts debate in Co-creation workshop for the Startup Angola Program

A co-creation workshop took place yesterday(12) with the aim of collecting subsidies for the creation of Startup Angola Program, organized by INAPEM, with the support of UNDP.

With the presence of several Stakeholders of the national digital entrepreneurship ecosystem, with emphasis on Haymée Perez Coglé (FIL), Vanda de Oliveira (BantuMakers), Lisa Videira (AASED), Fátima Almeida (BayQi), Kianda Hub and others, the event highlighted the creation of policies and strategies for the development of the national entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as the creation of actions to foster the digital entrepreneurship ecosystem and startups.

In a fully interactive round of conversation, those present will be able to give several reflections with the different ecosystem partners in a project that culminates in the creation of Program Startup Angola.

For Jesus Quiteque, responsible for coordinating the project, the program Startup Angola aims to serve as a flag for efforts in the development of the Angolan startup ecosystem.

Similar to other geographies, the same will the guide of the ecosystem development strategy, and will be operationalized through different initiatives aligned with pillars or principles to be defined, which are expected to generate results, in the short, medium and long term, allowing to measure thes results achieved more effectively.

In this working session, participants were invited to share their vision on the development of the Angolan startup ecosystem, sharing their experiences and providing input in a structured way, which will inform the creation of the program document.
