From the first day of the 2021 edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), which started last November 30, the event has a system for online registration of companies operating in the field of advertising and marketing, with a view to updating the number of operators, called “Showroom".

The initiative is from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), through the National Advertising Department, and aims to help sell products and services, diversify and expand channels, promote agreements and alliances, launch new products and expand the advertising and marketing market throughout the national territory.

According to what our newsroom found out, the event “Showroom” comprises the second and mini thematic exhibition that takes place simultaneously with the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), and in the four days of the event will seek to bring together professionals in the area and align strategies to attract investments and more and more advertisers, at a time when the advertising industry is one of the most affected by the reduction in business generated by the Covid-19 pandemic.

For MINTTICS, the idea is also to meet with the operators on the best solutions, in addition to taking advantage of the event to publicize the laws that regulate the activity.

Registration is free of charge through the Electronic Public Services Portal (SEPE) of the Government of Angola, as well as allowing you to register a company and simulate the costs of paying fees.

Isabel Lili, a technician from the National Publicity Directorate, speaking to journalists, informed that it is still not possible for the user to make the payment as there is still no authorization from the Ministry of Finance and publication in the Diário da República, but on the other hand the MINTTICS, through the National Advertising Directorate, is promoting registration and issuing provisional certificates to ensure that companies can operate without limitations.

To fulfill this aim, pre-registrations are being made at the Stand, by filling in a form.

"The process is simple and can be done by the user using an electronic device, without the need for an Internet connection.”, says Isabel Lili.
