Google prepares new features in its password manager

If most of the time the Google is committed to bringing new features to its tools, there is still room for other improvements. We talk about the interface and the way in which users can use these proposals in an even more natural way.

Within this last field, Google shows many changes. This time it's in the passwords, which can be accessed by anyone who has a Google account and where a lot of sensitive information is present to be used for authentication.

The available information shows that this important part of Chrome and Google will be redesigned and will have a different arrangement of features. There will be a division of the password manager's main features into three tabs located in a lower navigation bar.

BUT: Google now accepts Passkeys when logging into personal accounts

There is also a small redesign of the search bar, which now has an Add password button instead of the “+” available in its current form. This change also appears to be consistent with Google's Material Design 3 guidelines, the new design language that is being applied to all of the brand's apps.

There is still no information on when this change will take place and when it will be implemented more widely. This is expected to happen very soon, as it is a design change for something that Google has been looking to implement in all areas of its services.

Change is happening within Google constantly and always to improve its services. This is yet another case in which the search giant will change the design of its products, this time regarding its password manager.
